Australia has recently decided to terminate the anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) measures against stainless steel sinks from China.

After concluding that terminating the existing AD and CVD measures on China’s stainless steel sinks will not lead to continued injury to the Australian domestic industry, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission has made recommendations to the Minister for Industry and Science about the end of the measures upon their expiration on March 26, 2025.

The termination of tariffs was believed to deepen bilateral economic and trade cooperation and bring more win-win results for the two countries.

The product involved is classified under HS code 7324.10.00.52. Stainless steel sinks with fabricated bowls are excluded from the measures.
