Australia’s mining company Lindian Resources has reached a six-year supply deal of bauxite with Canada’s logistics company and freight forwarder C&D Logistics.
Under the agreement, Lindian will supply C&D Logistics with 23 million wet metric tons of bauxite from its Gaoual bauxite project in Guinea.

The supply in 2025 and 2026 will be 3 million wet metric tons each, 4 million wet metric tons will be supplied per year from 2027 to 2029, and the supply will increase to 5 million wet metric tons in 2030.

The supply from Lindian should be a minimum bauxite grade greater than or equal to 49% of aluminum oxide (Al2O3), and silica content should be less than or equal to 8% silicon dioxide (SiO2).
