Baosteel slightly increased the March rate based on February. Market participants analyzed the main reason was that consumption in the manufacturing industry has improved, actual orders were still there, and recent replenishment has led to a rebound in steel mills' orders.

In addition, the production capacity of steel mills has been controlled, and the supply into the market has not increased significantly, which also pushed the March rate up slightly.

Currently, by steel type, orders for cold-rolled steel are still good. Secondly, orders for hot-rolled steel have picked up due to the rebound in demand from the manufacturing industry. After the local market price rose slightly, overseas consumption did not increase significantly, and it remained flat at present.
