BMZ's wire rod sales to EU nearly up by 20%

GOMEL, 4 November (BelTA) – In January-September 2020 the Belarusian steel mill BMZ sold more than 200,000 tonnes of wire rod to the European union countries, up by 22% year-on-year. This product accounted for more than a quarter of BMZ's total export to the EU, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry

 

This year BMZ exported wire rod to 13 countries of the European Union. The plant has significantly increased shipments to Poland, Romania, Italy and the Netherlands, which became BMZ's largest importers in the EU. In 2020 wire rod was also sold to Bulgaria, Spain and Slovenia where there were no shipments last year.
