Brazil initializes AD duty investigation on carbon steel sheets from China

Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) announced that it had launched an anti-dumping investigation on carbon steel sheets, alloyed or non-alloyed, of any width with a thickness of less than 0.5 mm originating in China.

The investigation was requested by Brazilian domestic producer Companhia Siderurgica Nacional. The investigated HS codes are under 7210.12.00, 7210.50.00, 7212.10.00, and 7212.50.90.
