Brazil launches CVD investigation on Indonesia’s 304 cold-rolled stainless steel products

On June 2, 2021, Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) announced to launch an investigation of countervailing duty (CVD) on 304 cold-rolled stainless steel products originating in Indonesia, following the application filed by the Brazilian company Aperam Inox América do Sul S.A.

The products involved are under Mercosur tax numbers 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00, 7219.35.00, and 7220.20.90.

The period of subsidy investigation was from April 2019 to March 2020, and the period of injury analysis was from April 2015 to March 2020.
