Brazil launches second AD sunset review on cold-rolled stainless steel sheets from China

On October 2, 2024, Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services announced it launched the second review of the anti-dumping (AD) duty investigation on imports of stainless steel cold-rolled sheets from China and Taiwan. The products involved are sheets with a thickness of more than or equal to 0.35mm and less than or equal to 4.75mm for austenitic stainless steel type 304 (304, 304L, and 304H) and ferritic stainless steel type 430.

The HS codes for the involved products are 7219.30.00, 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00, 7219.35.00, and 7220.20.90.

The investigation period was from January 2023 to December 2023 and the damage investigation period was from January 2019 to December 2023.

The review was based on a request from the domestic company Aperam Inox America do Sul SA. on April 29, 2024. The interested parties should answer the survey within 30 days.
