Brazil's automobile output increases in Jan

According to statistics, Brazil produced approximately 153,000 units of automobiles (cars, trucks, and buses) in January, increasing by 5.0% from the same period a year ago while dropping by 20.3% from the previous month.
Besides, Brazil's automobile domestic sales volume was around 143,000 units, up by 12.0% year on year while plunging by 34.1% month on month; export volume was about 33,000 units, up by 5.9% month on month and 19.3% year on year.
The export volume was the highest in the past five years and has continued to grow since 2020.
