Colombia starts AD sunset review on Chile’s 208-liter cylindrical metal drums

The Colombian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism (MCIT) announced the launch of the anti-dumping (AD) sunset review investigation on cylindrical metal drums with a capacity equal to 208 liters originating in Chile, to determine whether the revocation of the current AD measure on subject goods would lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and the injury to the domestic industry.
The petitioner for this sunset review was the Colombian domestic company Greif Colombia S.A.
On March 22, 2018, the MCIT made an affirmative final ruling to impose a 10.35% AD duty based on FOB value on the products involved, valid for a period of five years.
The products involved are under HS code 7310.10.00.00.
