Brazil's CSP exports more slabs in Apr

Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP), a Brazilian slab producer, exported a total of around 321,000 tons of slab in April this year, rising by 74.2% compared to the preceding month and also growing by 10.7% from the same month a year ago. It was the second-highest monthly export volume since May 2017.

In the first four months of this year, CSP’s slab exports amounted to roughly 886,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.5%.
