Chile’s rebar sales volume increases in Jan-Nov 2021 due to recovered demand

According to the Chilean Chamber of Construction (CChC), the sales volume of Chilean rebar totaled around 51,000 tons in November 2021, falling by 3% compared to the previous month while increasing by 10.3% from the same month a year ago.
In the first 11 months of 2021, the sales volume of Chilean rebar amounted to approximately 562,800 tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%, mainly due to stronger demand a year after the market was severely hit by 2020's COVID-19 epidemic.
