Nowadays, international demand for environmentally responsible supply chains is increasing, and leading global brands like Apple, Audi, and BMW are pushing this trend by seeking evidence of reduced emissions in their materials.

Under this condition, the Chinese government is going to expand Green Aluminium Certifications. According to the China Green Metal Certification Center (CGMC), about 2.75 million metric tons of low-carbon aluminum are expect to be accredited by the end of the year. By 2024, this volume will be increased to around 4 million metric tons.

Until now, CGMC has granted green certification to 28 companies.
