China’s A00 aluminium ingot price hikes to RMB18,770/t; Low carbon aluminium price adds RMB14/t

On Tuesday, February 6, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price hiked by RMB 40 per tonne to arrive at RMB 18,770 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 18,750 per tonne and RMB 18,790 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a discount price of RMB 20 to a premium price of RMB 20 per tonne.
The domestic aluminium ingot prices have ascended in most of the provinces. To begin with, the price in Chongqing has added RMB 70 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,800 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 50 per tonne in Wuxi to halt at RMB 18,780 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the Gongyi, Shenyang and Tianjin prices have gained RMB 40 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,710 per tonne and RMB 18,820 per tonne. In Hangzhou, the domestic aluminium ingot price experienced the same price increase of RMB 40 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,770 per tonne. In Linyi, the price has increased by RMB 30 per tonne, settling at RMB 18,820 per tonne.
