On Tuesday, January 23, China's A00 aluminium ingot price dropped by RMB 80 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,750 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 18,730 per tonne and RMB 18,770 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a premium price of RMB 40 to RMB 80 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, the prices in Shenyang, Tianjin and Linyi have contracted by RMB 80 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,790 per tonne and RMB 18,830 per tonne. In Hangzhou, the domestic aluminium ingot price has lost RMB 75 per tonne to arrive at RMB 18,755 per tonne. On the same day, the A00 aluminium ingot prices in Foshan and Wuxi have fallen by RMB 70 per tonne to reach RMB 18,880 per tonne and RMB 18,750 per tonne. Gongyi and Chongqing's prices have lost RMB 60 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,710 per tonne and RMB 18,800 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has declined by RMB 84 per tonne to arrive at RMB 19,615 per tonne. The price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.96%) price has descended by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 26,300 per tonne and RMB 27,300 per tonne.
The average alumina spot price has added RMB 4 per tonne to peg at RMB 3,340 per tonne, followed by an expansion of RMB 20 per tonne in 3,230 per tonne and a growth of RMB 2.5 per tonne in Bayuquan to settle at RMB 3,290 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has declined by RMB 100 per tonne to score at RMB 19,350 per tonne, with average prices between RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 19,500 per tonne.
