China’s A00 aluminium ingot price opens the week with a drop of RMB50/t; Low carbon aluminium price loses RMB73/t

On Monday, November 6, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price dropped by RMB 50 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,120 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 19,140 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a discount price of RMB 90 to RMB 50 per tonne.

The domestic aluminium ingot prices have shown fall in all the provinces, except in Shenyang where it has increased by RMB 30 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,170 per tonne. The prices in Gongyi and Foshan have gained RMB 50 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,010 per tonne and RMB 19,150 per tonne. On the same day, the A00 aluminium ingot prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou have added the same amount to clock at RMB 19,130 per tonne and RMB 19,120 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the prices in Linyi have fallen by RMB 30 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,140 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne in Chongqing to come in at RMB 19,180 per tonne. Only in Tianjin, the prices have remained the same at RMB 19,170 per tonne.

The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has also dipped by RMB 73 per tonne to rest at RMB 19,927 per tonne. The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have hiked by RMB 100 per tonne to reside at RMB 26,600 per tonne and RMB 27,600 per tonne.
