LME aluminium benchmark price ascends by US$1.5/t to US$2219.5/t; SHFE aluminium price glides up US$92/t Y-o-Y

LME aluminium opened at US$2232.5 per tonne last Friday, with its low and high at US$2229.5 per tonne and US$2260 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2256.5 per tonne, up 0.98 per cent.

The LME aluminium live price chart, on November 3, marked a slight elevation in aluminium prices, with the LME aluminium cash bid price and the LME aluminium official price soaring by US$1.50 per tonne or 0.07 per cent to officially close at US$2,219 per tonne and US$2,219.50 per tonne.

When the price on November 3, last year, is taken into account, we can calculate an increase of US$3.50 per tonne or 0.16 per cent on a Year-on-Year scale.

London Metal Exchange graph flashed that the 3-month bid price and the 3-month offer price have surged by US$4 per tonne or 0.18 per cent to anchor at US$2,241 per tonne and US$2,242 per tonne, respectively.

The December 24 bid price and the December 24 offer price have risen by US$3 per tonne or 0.13 per cent, settling at US$2,353 per tonne and US$2,358 per tonne.

LME aluminium opening stock recorded a drop of 2,000 tonnes or 0.42 per cent, arriving at 468,700 tonnes. Live warrants stood at 203,800 tonnes, with no alterations at all. Cancelled warrants halted at 264,900 tonnes, plunging by 2,000 tonnes or 0.75 per cent.

LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price stopped at US$2,239.79 per tonne, down US$4.41 per tonne or 0.2 per cent.
