China’s A00 aluminium ingot price slips to RMB 18,480/t; Aluminium powder price inches down by RMB0.1/kg

On Thursday, December 7, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has fallen by RMB 80 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,480 per tonne. The prices have dropped in all the provinces, with the highest in Gongyi and Foshan, where it has dipped by RMB 100 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,590 per tonne. In Hangzhou, the domestic aluminium ingot price has dipped by RMB 90 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,470 per tonne.

As per the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) data, the prices in Wuxi and Chongqing have slipped by RMB 80 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,460 per tonne and RMB 18,530 per tonne. In Linyi and Shenyang, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have decreased by RMB 50 per tonne, RMB 60 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,530 per tonne, and RMB 18,580 per tonne. Only in Tianjin has the price decreased by RMB 40 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,580 per tonne.

The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has also contracted by RMB 116 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,320 per tonne. On the same day, the price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity (99.996%) dipped by RMB 100 per tonne to clock at RMB 26,200 per tonne and RMB 27,200 per tonne.
