China's alumina & aluminum alloy imports & exports statistics in Mar

According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, China imported a total of around 268,000 tons of alumina in March, sliding by 20.8% compared to the same month a year ago. The exports had a year-on-year decline of 46.08%.

During the reporting period, China’s aluminum alloy imports amounted to roughly 78,000 tons, dropping by 6% compared to last March, mainly from Malaysia. The export volume totaled nearly 18,000 tons, down by 52% year on year, of which Japan was the main export destination.
