China’s alumina, aluminum alloy, primary aluminum output increases in Sep

According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, the country’s alumina production totaled around 7.3 million tons in September, growing by 3.3% compared to the same month a year ago.

During the period, China's aluminum alloy production was 1.44 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 11%. Primary aluminum production totaled 3.65 million tons, a year-on-year hike of 1.2%.

In the first nine months of this year, China’s alumina output amounted to approximately 63.13 million tons, up by 2.4% year on year. Aluminum alloy production increased by 8.4% year on year to 11.57 million tons, and primary aluminum output hiked by 4.6% year on year to 32.56 million tons.
