According to Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Market Survey, the average spot price of alumina in China fell by RMB 1 per ton on Thursday, March 14, falling for the fourth consecutive day. Therefore, the price is 3,321 yuan per ton, down 11 yuan or 0.33% from last week's 3,332 yuan per ton.
In Shanxi, the spot price of alumina fell by 5 yuan/ton to 3,315 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 30 yuan/ton, or 0.90%, which was lower than 3,345 yuan/ton. On March 14, alumina spot prices in Shandong, Henan, Guizhou, Guangxi and other provinces remained restrained.
