China’s alumina spot price maintains the upward trajectory, grows to RMB3420/t; A00 aluminium ingot price gains RMB160/t

On Monday, April 29, the average alumina spot price gained RMB 30 per tonne to settle at RMB 3,420 per tonne. The alumina prices have shown growth in all the provinces, with the highest in Bayuquan, where it has hiked by RMB 70 per tonne to arrive at RMB 3,500 per tonne, followed by an upward movement of RMB 50 per tonne in Guangxi, where it settled at RMB 3,485 per tonne.
In Guizhou and Shanxi, the alumina prices have expanded by RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne to stand at RMB 3,435 per tonne and RMB 3,400 per tonne. As per the SMM data, in Shandong and Henan, the alumina price has added RMB 20 per tonne to arrive at RMB 3,380 per tonne and RMB 3,420 per tonne.
