China’s aluminum profile exports drop in Aug

According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), in August, China's aluminum profile exports totaled 81,800 tons, decreasing by 12.4% compared to the preceding month and by 3.42% from the year-ago period. The exports of aluminum wheels were 74,700 tons, down by 7% month on month and by 9% year on year.

In terms of aluminum foil, the exports reached 128,500 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 10% and a year-on-year increase of 11%. The volume in the January-August period amounted to approximately 1.02 million tons, growing by 15.7% from the same period a year ago.
