According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), China’s aluminum profile exports totaled around 93,000 tons in July this year, hiking by 12.8% compared to the preceding month and by 14.3% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, Guangdong remained the province with the largest export volume, accounting for 47.4% of total exports, followed by Shandong’s 16.7% and Fujian’s 6.7%.
During the period, the exports to Southeast Asia occupied the largest share, of which the Philippines accounted for 6.98% of total volume, with 6,518 tons, followed by Niger’s 5.24% (4,893 tons) and Vietnam’s 5.17% (4,822 tons).
In August, China’s domestic aluminum price rose, which was likely to give pressure on China’s exports, leading to a drop in aluminum profile exports.
