China’s aluminum scrap imports drop in Apr

According to statistics released by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, China’s aluminum scrap imports totaled around 71,500 tons in April, sliding by 53.27% compared to the same month a year earlier and also dropping by 6.73% from the previous month.

Among them, the imports from the US accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 22,100 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 38.57% and a month-on-month increase of 41.79%.
