China's primary aluminum & bauxite imports increase in Apr

According to statistics released by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, China imported around 7,300 tons of primary aluminum in April, surging by nearly 370% compared to the same month a year ago, of which Russia accounted for the largest proportion with around 2,900 tons.
In terms of bauxite, China's bauxite imports totaled around 9.9 million tons in April, growing by 1.65% from the same month a year earlier, of which Guinea was the largest supplier with roughly 4.82 million tons.
Besides, China's alumina imports amounted to approximately 219,000 tons in April, a year-on-year increase of 285.5% and a month-on-month decrease of 35.37%.
