According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, China imported around 9.42 million tons of bauxite in June this year, falling by 21.37% compared to the previous month.
Among them, the imports from Guinea were down by 17.16% to 5.75 million tons, those from Australia were down by 21.2% to 2.44 million tons; those from Indonesia dropped by 39.9% to 1.05 million tons, all month on month.
In the period from January to June, China’s bauxite imports amounted to 65.2 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 18.1%.
