According to trading statistics, China imported around 10.69 million tons of bauxite in January this year, growing by 27.3% compared to the same month a year ago.
In February, China’s imports of bauxite totaled roughly 10.3 million tons, a year-on-year increase of nearly 19%.
In the first two months of this year, China’s bauxite import sources were mainly from Guinea, followed by Australia and Indonesia.
