China's bauxite imports increase in Nov

According to statistics from China Customs, China's bauxite imports totaled around 8.05 million tons in November, slightly up by 0.7% compared to the previous month and rising by 12.1% from the same month a year earlier.

Among them, the imports from Guinea accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 3.9 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 15.3%; followed by 2.73 million tons from Australia, a month-on-month reduction of 20.7%. Indonesia ranked third, with a volume of roughly 1.3 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 7.0%.

In the first 11 months of this year, China’s bauxite imports amounted to approximately 104 million tons, a hike of 13.4% over the same period last year.
