China’s copper ore & concentrates imports drop in 2020

According to statistics, China’s imports of copper ore and concentrates totaled around 1.89 million tons in December 2020, and the volume in 2020 came to roughly 21.79 million tons, sliding by 1.1% compared to 2019, which was a decrease again after 2011.

In December 2020, China imported around 512,300 tons of unwrought copper and copper materials, a month-on-month reduction of 8.73% and a year-on-year decrease of 3.33%.
