China's crude stainless steel production drops in Q1-Q3

According to statistics released by the Stainless Steel Branch of China Special Steel Enterprises Association, in the first three quarters of this year, China’s crude stainless steel output totaled around 21.97 million tons, dropping by 2.3% compared to the same period a year ago.

Among them, the output of Cr-Ni stainless steel (so-called 300 series) accounted for the largest proportion, totaled around 10.77 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.23%.
