China's crude steel & steel products output decreases in Sep

According to China's National Bureau of Statistics, in September, the country's crude steel output totaled about 77.07 million tons, a 6.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. The daily average production in September was nearly 2.57 million tons, marking a 2.2% increase from the previous month. From January to September, total crude steel production amounted to 768.48 million tons, down by 3.6% year on year.

In terms of steel products, production stood at 117.31 million tons in September, down by 2.4% from the same month of the previous year. The daily average output for steel products was 3.91 million tons, showing a 9.3% month-on-month rise. Total steel product production from January to September was about 1,044.48 million tons, down by 0.1% year on year.
