In the third quarter, China's steel associative pointer kept increasing. The steel mills were expected to be busier in August and September; however, the export growth might decrease.

In July, there were many China's investing projects of fixed assets putting into operation, and the sufficient funding made more projects begin.

Besides, the investment in infrastructure continued to accelerate. In the first seven months, the investment in China's infrastructure increased by 7.4% year on year. However, the real estate investment kept going down, and it was the factor making China's steel consumption low.

China's steel demand was expected to gradually rise, but exports might drop. It was forecasted that China's domestic steel demand will be higher than foreign demand in the third quarter.
