In December, China’s flat-rolled galvanized steel prices are going up. The increasing future prices made raw material prices rise as well. Even so, the demand doesn’t show upward trends.

In terms of the outlook in January, Lunar New Year is approaching, and most of the end enterprises in China will take a vacation after January 10. Therefore, the shipping time for traders would be less, coupled with weak order taking, so demand will not be strong in January.

Regarding production, the capacity utilization rate of flat-rolled galvanized steel was forecasted to be 45%. With increasing social inventory and gradually decreasing demand, China's spot market prices would keep stable in January.
