China’s iron ore imports increase in Jan

According to statistics from China’s customs, in January, China’s iron ore imports were 1.1 billion tons, growing by 100 million tons from the previous month. During the same period, the import price increased by 5.17% month on month to about US$129.63 per ton.

Among them, Australia was the main import source, with 642 million tons. Other import sources included Brazil (about 254 million tons), and India (about 5.6 million tons).
