China’s iron ore price index falls on Aug 12

According to the data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was 397.35 points on August 12, which was down by 1.81% or 7.34 points compared with the previous CIOPI on August 11.
The domestic iron ore price index was 375.62 points, rising by 0.63% or 2.37 points compared to the previous day; the import iron ore price index was 401.46 points, decreasing by 2.23% or 9.17 points from the preceding one.
