China’s iron ore price index falls on May 6

According to the data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was 501.51 points on May 6, which was down by 3.69% or 19.19 points compared with the previous CIOPI on May 5.

The domestic iron ore price index was 455.68 points, falling by 0.74% or 3.41 points compared to the previous price index; the import iron ore price index was 510.17 points, decreasing by 4.17% or 22.18 points from the previous one.
