China's Jiangsu Delong invests CNY 700 million in new stainless steel bar line

According to reports, Jiangsu Delong Metal Technology Company invested CNY 700 million to build a stainless steel bar mill, and commissioning was completed this week.

The design capacity of the bar plant was around 800,000 tons/year, and the main product would be medium-sized bars.

Moreover, the steel plant would also process stainless steel and special steel products, including tube blanks, bar cutting, and forgings after commissioning. Delong hoped to increase daily output on the basis of 1,250 tons/day in the short term.

The total investment of this stainless steel bar project was around CNY 1.7 billion. The project was divided into two phases, of which the investment in the second phase was around CNY 980 million, and small bar products with an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons would also be added.
