Taiwan's stainless steel billet imports fall in Jan-Apr

According to the report, Taiwan imported roughly 8,400 tons of stainless steel billet from January to April, falling by 25% from the same period a year ago. Among them, Indonesia supplied around 5,200 tons, dropping by 42% year on year.

Since November 2019, stainless steel billets have not been imported from Indonesia for 4 consecutive months, while about 2,100 tons were imported from Indonesia in March this year.

In April, Taiwan imported approximately 4,300 tons, rising by almost 40% from the same month last year, which has gone up for three consecutive months.
