China’s medium-thick steel plate stocks in week ending Nov 3 decreases

According to the report, in the week ending on November 3, China’s 77 steel mills, which totaled 112 blast furnaces, idled their production. The blast furnace operating rate from China’s main steel manufacturers was 77.32%, dropping by 1.24% week on week.

Meanwhile, the weekly medium-thick steel plates output in China was about 1.41 million tons, and the capacity utilization rate of hot-rolled lines was 78%, decreasing by 2% from the previous week.

At the same time, the steel mills’ inventory of medium-thick steel plates was 778,000 tons, dropping by 6.8% week on week.
