Spain’s steel output hikes in Sep

According to statistics from Spanish Steel Association (UNESID), Spanish steel production in September was 1.01 million tons, soaring by 50.1% month on month, but decreasing by 19% year on year. In the first nine months of this year, its steel output was 9 million tons.
In September, Spain’s steel industry recycled 778,000 tons of scrap for manufacturing new steel products, hiking by 86.1% compared with the volume in August but dropping by 23% year on year. In the first nine months, there were 6.76 million scraps that were recycled by Spain’s steel industry.
