China’s prebaked carbon anode exports decrease in Jun

According to statistics, China’s exports of prebaked carbon anode, a material for aluminum smelting, totaled 114,000 tons in June, dropping by 12.78% compared to the same month a year ago, and also sliding by nearly 31% from the previous month.

In June, China mainly exported prebaked carbon anode to Canada, Russia, and Malaysia, totaling 68,000 tons, which accounted for 59.6%.

In the first half of this year, the prebaked carbon anode exports totaled roughly 797,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 23.4%.
