India's aluminum scrap imports from US hike in Jan-Apr

According to statistics, India imported 10,400 tons of aluminum scrap from the US in April, reducing by 51.4% from the same month a year ago and also down by 70% compared to the previous month.

In the first four months of this year, Indian aluminum scrap imports from the US amounted to roughly 106,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 27.71%.

In addition, India imported 10,600 tons of aluminum, including semi-finished products, crude metals and alloy, and aluminum scrap, from the US, sliding by 51% year on year and 69% month on month.

From January to April, Indian aluminum imports from the US reached 107,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 11.11%.
