China’s primary aluminum output grows in Aug

According to statistics, China’s primary aluminum output totaled around 3.19 million tons in August, rising by 6.13% compared to the same month a year ago. As of the end of August, China’s annual production capacity of primary aluminum was 36.62 million tons.
In August, China’s alumina average daily output was roughly 103,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 2,200 tons. The new primary aluminum production capacity in Yunnan and Sichuan province was in operation steadily.
