In 2022, after ascending during the period between March and mid-April, China's seamless pipe market price started to fall down with fluctuations from the end of April. In June, seamless pipe price dived heavily beyond anyone's expectations, which caused market participants to get into panic and started to sell their reserved goods.

Although demand remains weak in the market, most traders and end users do purchase according to their real demand.

Meanwhile, in 2023, the whole world will enter a post-pandemic era. As construction plans of infrastructures could create new demands instead of the real estate industry, it is estimated that the Chinese market's average price of seamless pipe will be slightly higher than the 2022 level in 2023.
