China’s stainless steel coil prices boosted by rising nickel prices & stronger CNY

According to a professional agency’s evaluation, the base price of China’s 304 stainless steel cold-rolled coils was up by US$40-60/ton in the previous week, and that of 304 hot-rolled coils increased by US$30-60/ton week on week.

The increase was mainly driven up by rising nickel prices and stronger CNY earlier last week. However, due to the new year holiday last week, there were not so many activities in the export market.
