China’s stainless steel output reaches 3 million tons in May

According to the statistic from China, the total output of stainless steel in China this May was around 3.14 million tons, decreased slightly from the previous month.
Among them, the output of 300 series has shown over 5% increase from April, and over 13% increase from the same period last year, came to nearly 1.6 million tons.
Moreover, for the 200 series of stainless steel products, the total output in May decreased by 2.67% month on month, which mainly caused by the cut-production policy, which showed around 1 million tons.
