It was reported that China's large stainless steel mills such as Tsingshan, Baosteel Desheng, Taigang, Beibu Gulf New Materials, Zhangjiagang Pohang, Angang Lianzhong, and so on, will mostly remain normal production. However, during the Chinese New Year holiday, more than nine narrow-strip steel mills will suspend their production for more than 20 days or even one month.

The reduction of the output in February was initially calculated at about 215,000 tons, of which roughly 165,000 tons will be 200 series and 50,000 tons will be 300 series.
