China’s stainless steel production grows in 2021

According to statistics from the Stainless Steel Council of China Special Steel Enterprises Association, China produced a total of around 30.63 million tons of stainless steel in 2021, rising by 1.64% compared to the previous year.
In 2021, China’s apparent consumption of stainless steel had a year-on-year growth of 1.9%, amounting to approximately 26.1 million tons.
