China’s stainless steelmakers may cut output to react power limited policy

According to the power limited policy from China, some of the stainless steel mills decided to reduce their monthly output by 20% scale in the last quarter of this year.

By the statistic from the market, the total stainless crude steel output this September in China has decreased by around 575,000 to 645,000 tons, especially on 200 and 300 series.

For October, the total output of stainless crude steel might be lower than the normal level by 440,000 to 600,000 tons.
