China’s steel demand from infrastructure to increase in Oct

In the first eight months, China’s infrastructure investment increased year on year, which benefited China’s economy a lot.

In August, the fixed investment in road and water traffic construction slightly went up compared with the previous month. Also, the investment in power and hydraulic engineering increased. Besides, the support from the government also made the market optimistic.

In October, with the funding strategy implemented, the infrastructure investment would keep growing, further increasing steel demand.
